We are in the process of testing an upgrade to Joomla 4 which the theme requires a new version of virtuemart. We notice now that when a new user purchases a course, that user account is created in moodle and the password is syncing however there is no course registration on moodle and the email from joomdle / joomla is not being triggered. I wont if Joomdle is not recongnizing the purchase of the course to trigger these actions. please advise, we did check for a new version of the virtuemart plugin and don't see anything newer than 1.3.0.

Versions:

Joomla - 4.4.4
Joomdle - 2.3.1
Joomdle Virtuemart - 1.3.0
Virtuemart - 4.2.6.10972
Moodle - 3.6.8
Moodle Joomdle - 2.3.1

I tested in my local installation (with latest VM) and it seems to be working fine here.

Please check this to see if it helps:

Hi,
Would there be any other method to track the progress and see where the error is.

In the FAQ.
I think the settings are correct, but maybe I am looking at the wrong area.

Is this the correct sections?

Shop component is selected in Joomdle configuration in Joomla, Shop section
postimg.cc/wyYM6z5t

Course product is in the right shop category as configured in Joomdle configuration in Joomla, Shop section
postimg.cc/wyYM6z5t
The course category is correct as it is "blank"

Manual enrolment plugin is enabled in courses

Joomdle shop integration plugin (joomdlevm2, joomdlehikashop, ...) is installed and enabled
postimg.cc/jnWFvp9X

Order is being confirmed in shop

I tried this in the virtuemart configuration area to see if this was the reason (no)

I don't see any category selected in Joomdle config, "Courses Category" option.

Ah ok... weird :)

I don't know what can be happening... everything seems fine, so debugging would be needed to try to find out.

Would you have any suggestion where to look at for debuging logs for hints?

There's no log to look at.... you will need to debug the plugin code, to try to understand why it is not working.... for this you need to PHP and Joomla knwoledge.
You would change order status in VM backend, and see if the plugin is being executed. Then go from there....

If you prefer, I can take a look at your server...although I see that your subscription is over, so you would need to renew first.
