Now this is super weird!
I had tried removing language and SEF settings in Joomdle in Moodle and it wasn't working. Now it did except that this time Admin Tools plugin was disabled. I re-enabled the plugin and it still works fine. So practically I am unable to verify the cause...
Thank you for your support, I will buy a subscription as soon as I reach a certain point on what I develop. Joomdle is very useful and I will support it. Besides, I also need the CB plugin, I hope it works fine with latest CB updates.
Thanks again!
Edit: Actually I might buy a subscription now, can you confirm that the CB plugins are updated to work with latest CB and CBSubs versions?

Glad to know things are working, even if we don't know exactly what was wrong in the first place.
Thanks for supporting Joomdle, I saw that you already got a subscription. As far as I know plugins are working, but I see that you have a problem with one already, so I'll look into it.

Ok, "accidentally" I have managed to find the cause for this issue.
Responsible is Joomla's Error Reporting.
When it is set to Maximum, Joomdle Web Services stop working...
Does this mean that Joomdle Web Services fail when error reporting is set to maximum, because a less important setting is misconfigured or there is some version incompatibility or something?

What this means is that the error reporting setting is causing some error that is "breaking" Web services requests/replies.
You'll need to identify what is causing it, but it can also not be related to Joomdle at all: you could have a unrelated system plugin throwing an error and thus breaking Joomdle connection.
