Hi Guys
I've just literally almost configured the required configurations required for Joomdle, but upon running the Systems Health Check It comes up with "Joomdle Web Services x " Received empty response from Moodle" Error. I know a few people have encountered this error before. Both Moodle 0.9 and Joomla 3.0 are being tested via localhost on the following URLs:

http://localhost/moodle
and
http://localhost/Mywebsite.

Anyone have any ideas how to rectify this error?

Would greatly appreciate assistance

With thanks

Pam

This can be caused by many things.
Are any other checks failing?

Hello Pamela!
I am having the same problem. I am using Mamp 3.05 The Moodle for Mac stack. It is the only version of Mamp that has php 5.1, xmlrpc and opcache installed and has the latest mysql that will run moodle 2.7.2. I have been thru the installs 5 times !!!!
I still get the same empty response error. It is not my url's in moodle/joomdle plugin or joomla as the wiki says.
http://localhost/joomla3.6
http://localhost/moodle27
All the other system tests are green. I did migrate to bluehost and it worked but I still had SSO problems. Joomla login worked but moodle didn't.
I even tried xampp (pain) ! moodle for mac. It does not have latest mysql to run moo2.7.2. I am not sure there are any mac stacks that are working properly. I am not sure why Antonio doesn't just bundle a stack with joomla, joomdle, moodle already installed. They are all open source. It would save him lots of time on support issues. I would even pay for it.
How about windows in virtualbox! Ha!

Please start new topics for your problems.

I don't think I have seen anyone here saying he got Joomdle to work on MAMP, so I don't know if it works there.

As for providing a full stack: that does not make much sense in most enviroments, and MAMP is a corner-case.
