New SSL Certificate breaks Joomdle

Hello,

We had to renew the SSL Certificate for our Moodle/Joomla Site.

Since then the Joomdle integration doesn’ t work anymore.

Any Idea, what we can do?

Certificate renewal should not impact Joomde, as far as I know... what do you get in system check?

I have a similar issue. I am using:

Joomdle v1.2.1
Moodle v3.1.6
Joomla v3.9.8

I can only log into moodle using the admin console using a manual account.

I happened when a SSL certificate was renewed.

Any idea?

No the later three are not.

Joomla to Moodle HTTP connectivity Joomla cannot connect to Moodle
Moodle to Joomla HTTP connectivity Moodle cannot connect to Joomla
Joomdle Web Services Received empty response from Moodle

For some reason my joomla cannot connect to moodle now.

/webservice/xmlrpc/server.php -> DEBUG INFO: SELECT * FROM {external_functions} WHERE name IS NULL [array ( )] | ERRORCODE: invalidrecord

/index.php?option=com_joomdle&task=ws.server&format=xmlrpc -> XML-RPC Error (1): Invalid token:

My CFG->wwwroot and joomdle config on both joomla and moodle use https://

Nothing changeed except updating the certificate. So am unsure where the sisue may lie.

Hi,

as I wrote in the first post, we experienced the very same after we renewed the certificate.

The system check gave the same report as mentioned by Civica Digital. We then decided to set up everything new.

Here our old configuration:

Moodle 2.9.3+
Joomdle Auth-Plugin in Moodle 1.2
Joomdle 1.0.5
Joomla 3.4.X

If you have ssh access to the host, try using wget to get Moodle URL, to see if that give you any hints.
